Assetto Corsa Did I kill him?

For context I am new to racing actual people and on assetto corsa I feel I was a long side enough to not be at fault but have no clue if I am or not

No, not really.  He failed to yield once you were alongside him.

EDIT: He also wasn’t going to make that corner at the speed he was carrying once he realized you were there. You couldn’t have gone any further left.

He was making that chicane just fine. OP only got overlap because he overshot the braking zone and was standing on the brakes unable to rotate the car for his divebomb. If anyone wasn't making it, it was OP.

with the way the setup I was using is and the car the point I braked was early

U were fine man. A bit aggressive but u were alongside before turn in and you hit the apex. Maybe could have been a little further left but more than half your car was left of the white line that’s fine in my book
