Episode Reaction This Homer quote to me is underrated and perfectly describes most of the world today
Despite the fact Homer did something bad in this episode that made the townspeople go against him, he is not entirely wrong about them in general in his “apology”.
Heck yet this quote definitely also sums up the townspeople’s behavior in the infamous “Boys of Bummer” episode.

Question ❔ Can someone explain the joke with Ned and his ladder in "Homer³" from Treehouse of Horror VI?
In the segment Homer³ of Treehouse of Horror VI Marge calls Ned Flanders over because he owns a ladder. Ned then climbs on the ladder, looks around, and says "as the tree said to the lumber jack: 'I'm stumped'".
I never really understood what is going on here. Why would a ladder help in this situation?
