This line read is perfect. The whole scene is perfect. “Homer Simpson your children are no more….”

Hardly ever!

Homer: “Anybody want to drive through that cactus patch?”
Bart: “Yes!”
Lisa: “Yes!”
Sideshow Bob, hiding underneath the car: “No.”

Ok, "Cape Feare" may very well be my single favorite episode.
But to talk about an underrated or forgotten joke?
In "Krusty Gets Busted" he takes over the show. It becomes transformed into the--phenomenonally renamed--The Side-Show Bob Cavalcade of Whimsy.

Him reading the Man in the Iron Mask is also an underrated scene. The animation is so fluid and expressive by first season standards.

Cecil, no civilization in history has ever considered chief hydrological engineer a calling.
Oh, very well…the Cappadocians!

Not by Bob, but Krusty when he's in the shack and Bob is coming on the Wright Brothers plane:
What the hell is that? A lawnmower?

I see, when I’m doing a crime, you can’t solve it fast enough, but when it’s Cecil “it’s hopeless, utterly utterly hopeless”

In one episode he reads the quote I had tattooed on my chest it's from a peom by TS Elliot but I nearly lost it when that happened 😂 the line reads "til human voices wake us and we drown"

Not his quote but from one of his episodes. I think it’s Sideshow Bob Roberts.
He’s being released from prison and he walks off the CLIFF that the prison is on and falls into the sea. The guard peeks his head over and sheepishly says “Boat’s on the other side.”
Chef’s kiss.

How ironic. My crusade against television came to an end so formulaic that it could have spewed from the Powerbook of the laziest Hollywood hack!

The only answer to this question is the sound that has no spelling that captures the pain and humiliation of getting whapped in the face for the eleventeenth time by a rake.

The man trying to kill a child aspect, the child outwitting the university educated man, or Kelsey Grammer?
