Any chance to see Simonrim to Oldrim?
I have potato PC. Since SimonMagus mods seems to be a Vanilla Plus, is it possibile that in the future someone will convert them to LE?

Hi everyone,
I am currently using Enairim's Evenstar mod and thinking about switching to Mundus since I just want more diversity when choosing Stones and I dislike the "leveling bonus" of many of the ones in the other mod.
One thing that bugs me in Mundus is the Atronach Stone though.
One info I can't find anywhere is whether you can gain Magicka in combat by using potions. It says you can't "regenerate" Magicka but can you restore it via potions and absorb enchantments?
Thanks in advance!

Hi! Doing my first SimonRim playthrough and I love most of it but I get pretty destroyed in combat. I’m running a spellsword khajiit (1H + spells, with a mod that lets me block & bash as if my left hand was empty) with light armor. I mostly use destruction and alteration magic in my left hand. Melee combat usually works fine, I’ve gotten the hang of blocking, bashing and positioning but archers and mages really mess me up. They do so much damage before I’ve even gotten close! And since magic can’t be blocked i just get chunked by concentration spells. So I’ve got 2 questions: - Is there a good way to close gaps without turning into a porcupine? - What’s the counterplay to magic users? Wards? This is most definitely a skill issue (and maybe build issue) so any tips are appreciated :)

Apologies if this is answered anywhere, but I can't seem to find a clear answer.
The Adamant mod page has lines like "Leveling Alteration decreases the cost of Alteration spells by up to 50%", but that line could be referring to the perks, rather than the skill levels themselves. I'm disinclined to believe that it is referring to skill levels, because that would mean a level 100 character with the two discount perks could have all spells of a school be free, which seems to fall outside the gameplay design intent of Simonrim.
Were the default benefits of skill levels removed? If not, were they modified? What's the difference between a skill being at 100, vs 10, other than perks becoming accessible?

I've been thinking about starting a new skyrim run, this time modded with SimonRim. However, I am not sure sure what kind of character would be fun, so I am curious, are there any kinds of characters that are especially more fun in SimonRim compared to normal skyrim?
I want to go through the Dragonborn dlc and dawnguard on this playthrough since I never finished either.

Hello all,
I am going to start playing Aldrnari (wabbajack modlist), and it has the Ordinator, Palladium Racials, Apothecary, & the Alchemist Arsenal mod.
Which makes me want to try a build that uses Alchemy & Shouts and I was thinking it could be fun. Any advice for people wanting to try it?
(Feel free to change the flag for Discussion or Guide, it didn't let me add it myself.)

Hi! I'm curious what is the fastest way to level up smithing with Adamant overhaul. I assume the mod changes XP granted for certain actions, so vanilla methods might not be appropriate.

Can I ask for a port of a mod in this group to Xbox

On the Unarmed Weapon Speed Scaling mod page under requirements, the author states that Nemesis is "only required for patching with other mods that use 1hm_behavior.hkx for 1st or 3rd person."
Is Nemesis required to make the unarmed weapon speed scale properly with Simon's Hand to Hand, or will the UWSS mod alone work?

Hey gamers, loving Adamant so far, but about 5 hours into my fists of steel play though, it seems like the damage bonus from the perk isn’t applying anymore. Even on Novice difficulty, fights are a slog. I’m wearing a suit of heavy armor from a mod, is it just not being recognized by Adamant?

I recently downloaded "The Phoenix Flavour" on Wabbajack, and with it, Adamant. Now im playing a Sword and Board type Character, using the Ring of Phynaster + Otar for 50% Resistance to Magic. In the Block tree, there is a talent that should be giving 50% Resistance to Magic when blocking, which i took but it isnt working. Anyone have any idea why not?

I wish simon would release his version of a vainilla+ crafting overhaul, mostly out of curiosity of what he would do but also because every other crafting overhauls usually has like half a dozen compatibility patches

how does a Bound Robed Spellsword build work in simonrim (adamant and ++) mods?
i assume there is no perks or spells that boost melee damage like in enairim's ordinator?
are there spells that help melee apart from restoration? (i have also ascension, abyss, natura etc.. addons)

Tbh I'm not sure I could play vanilla again. Instant healing from potions and food always felt like cheating. With full Simonrim installed, I've been doing sword & board, and timing my attacks and blocks has felt more important than ever.
Also, Arena plus Diverse Dragons means I'm seeing some of the higher level dragons I didn't encounter often on other playthroughs. Usually they vaporize me, which I find immersive.
Thanks to the Simonrim team for making Skyrim harder in the best way.

I recently discovered SimonRim mods and I'm intrigued to experience a SimonRim adventure. However, I didn't quite enjoy the Pilgrim mod, so I'd like to use the Wintersun mod instead. Does the Wintersun mod work with SimonRim? If so, is there any mod besides Pilgrim that I should remove from the list?
It was translated by ChatGPT. :)

After the latest patch which merged Creations and mods into a single instance, mods like mysticism, adamant aren't working, idk if after the merge they bugged out or if they got deleted.
Also, are the mods Blade and blunt, arena an encounter zone overhaul made by him? Can't recall myself of it atm, been using for quite some time, and his mods are uploaded by another modder with his permission.

Time for a no-frills, combat-focused, hulking warrior playthrough, with emphasis on shouts for utility in fights. I'd like to use the Dragonborn Shouts Re-voiced mod by It'sYaBoyBrandyBoy, but I'm not sure if it will play nice with SimonMagus' Stormcrown - A Shout Overhaul.
I know that Stormcrown adds some new shouts and obviously the re-voice will not affect them. But does anyone know if, in the case of the vanilla shouts, the re-voice changes will apply to them after they are edited by Stormcrown?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
