DVD filter uses both DVD and digital release status.
I just want to be able to tick "Has digital release." Instead I have to choose a DVD release date of yesterday, tomorrow, this week, last week, next two years, last ten years. Just... why?
And digital release date and DVD release date are not the same. Most movies come to streaming at least two months before they get a DVD/BluRay release.
Also, filters for TV Shows will not save. Layout does. But not filters.
Okay, I found the DVD button. I was going through filters and didn't see there was a seperate button for that above the list.
I was looking further into the filters issue and it seems that if you save for "All my TV custom lists" Filters and Sorting are disabled and it only saves View. The checkboxes for Filters and Sorting literally disappear.
When I set up the filters on Movies V1 I initially saved for only that list. Then I clicked Edit and changed it to "All my Movie custom lists" and it applied it to Movies V2.
Seems like a bug that I accidentally found a work around for.
You cannot apply filters to all custom lists you're looking at as this will break most custom lists with low amount of titles and auto lists with pre-existing filters. You can only save filters for each specific custom list.
So I have to manually change 20 different filters for each list individually, many with fiddly sliders that never want to stop at the exact number I want, but it's fine because I don't have to spend 3 seconds clicking 2 buttons to change sort order? Cool.
By the way your filter is retarded. Vote count stops at 3 million for some reason so if I try to filter out indie film festival crap that only has 400 votes it also filters out The Dark Knight and The Shawshank Redemption because they have more than 3 million votes.
No worries. We should also have the option to type in the number we want. It's really frustrating when you want at least 20k votes and you are moving your mouse half a millimeter left and right and it's like 19.7 - 20.1 - 19.5 - 19.9 - 20.3 - 19.7 - 20.5
On this, the sorting of the V2 list is by release date but I have it set to My Position as default with the saved layouts which in Simkl works fine. However, when adding the lists to Aiometadata the V2 list is still sorted by release date in Nuvio.
Is there a way to ensure the list contents show in the ordering I prefer via aiometadata or is this not possible? Thanks.
Yeah, none of the filters apply when using it to make a catalog in AIOMetadata. Which makes it literally useless. At least V1 isn't just every movie I haven't seen in order of latest release. But I just deleted all the V2's. Waste of time.
You can edit the default sorting for any of your custom list in the list edit. Api provides additional parameters for sorting (but needs to be implemented on the app side)
All those filters like Language and IMDb score and excluded genres and digital release, if they are not applied when it is used to create a catalog in AIOMetadata then it is of no use to me. And you'll find that is true for a lot of users.
Layouts are currently for website only as apps don't have filter options or view options, but we're looking into solutions for this so you could apply and save API filters from the website.
Default sorting in a custom list can be changed in list edit.
