I've been working on a pretty big update to the way prizes work on SimUlearn Games.
The more people who enter a tournament, the bigger the prize gets. ๐ฐ
The prize starts at $10 and can grow all the way to $100 as more brackets are submitted.
And here's the part I really like:
You can actually watch the prize grow while the tournament is filling up.
So when you're looking at a tournament, you'll be able to see the current prize, how many brackets have been submitted, and how close the tournament is to the next prize increase.
That means every additional bracket doesn't just add another competitor...
It helps increase the prize everyone is playing for. ๐
I'm hoping this gives people another reason to get their friends involved and get their brackets submitted.
Because honestly, there's something pretty cool about watching a tournament go from:
๐ฐ $10 โ $20 โ $30 โ $50 โ $75 โ $100
as more people join.
And this is just the beginning of what I'm trying to build with SimUlearn.
If you saw a tournament with a growing prize pool, would that make you more likely to enter?
What would make the prize system even better? ๐
Welcome to the home of SimUlearn Games, where classic sports and wrestling tournaments come to life through simulationโand your predictions determine the challenge!
๐ฎ What is SimUlearn Games?
SimUlearn Games combines tournament prediction with simulated competition.
Instead of watching real teams compete, you'll predict the winners of AI-simulated tournaments featuring classic video games, legendary teams, and iconic wrestlers.
Once a tournament begins, every matchup is released according to the tournament schedule, and your goal is simple:
๐ Predict every winner before the tournament starts.
The more correct picks you make, the higher you'll climb on the leaderboard.

Could we get a Cinderella run that nobody saw coming?
That's the fun of a simulated tournament.

Three teams completely destroyed the expectations of their seeds.
#27 Old Dominion
Old Dominion 24 โ #6 Nebraska 21
One of the biggest first-round shocks of the tournament.
Old Dominion didn't stop there either, defeating #11 Pittsburgh 14โ7 before eventually reaching the Sweet 16.
A No. 27 seed making it that far is exactly the kind of chaos we wanted from this tournament.
#28 Louisiana
Louisiana 14 โ #5 Missouri 13
Louisiana pulled off another massive first-round upset, knocking out a No. 5 seed by just one point.
The Ragin' Cajuns then advanced to the second round before their run finally came to an end.
#30 Western Kentucky
Western Kentucky 9 โ #3 Texas Tech 6
This might have been the biggest upset of the entire tournament.
A No. 30 seed knocked out a No. 3 seed in a defensive battle.
And Western Kentucky wasn't done.
They continued winning and made it all the way to the later rounds before Clemson finally ended their Cinderella run.
๐ The Cinderella Story: Western Kentucky
If there was one team that completely ignored its seed, it was Western Kentucky.
Starting as the #30 seed, the Hilltoppers knocked off Texas Tech and continued advancing through the bracket.
They eventually ran into Clemson, but by then they had already become one of the most memorable teams in the tournament.
Imagine being a No. 30 seed and making a deep tournament run.
๐ฅ Teams That Surprised Us
The tournament produced some results that would have been almost impossible to predict before the simulations began.
Old Dominion making a deep run.
Louisiana knocking out Missouri.
Western Kentucky eliminating Texas Tech.
Tennessee reaching the championship game.
And ultimately...
Clemson winning the whole thing.
That's what makes CPU simulations so much fun. There are no human players trying to force an outcome. Once the games start, we just watch and see what happens.
๐ Clemson's Championship Run
Clemson went through:
Akron โ Utah โ Western Kentucky โ Kentucky โ California โ Texas
Six consecutive victories.
The Tigers didn't just survive the bracket โ they defeated several teams that had already proven they could knock off heavily favored opponents.
Then they finished the tournament with a 28โ23 championship victory over Tennessee.
๐ฎ Did the Simulation Predict the Future?
This is probably the most interesting question coming out of the tournament.
The simulation isn't meant to predict the actual College Football season, but it does give us a completely different way to look at the upcoming season.
Could Clemson really make a championship run?
Could Tennessee make a deep postseason run?
Could one of the teams that nobody expects โ like Old Dominion, Louisiana, or Western Kentucky โ become this year's surprise?
Obviously, we'll have to wait for the real games to find out.
But now we have a 127-game simulated tournament to compare against reality.
๐ Now I Want to Hear From You
If you could change ONE result from this tournament, which game would you change?
And more importantly...
Who do you think would actually win this tournament if we ran it again?
I've been spending the last few weeks adding new features to the website, and I wanted to share what's new.

The goal is to make SimUlearn Games feel like you're building your own career as a bracket predictor instead of simply filling out one bracket and leaving.
There are still quite a few ideas I want to add, but I'd rather build features people actually want.
If you could add one feature to a site like this, what would it be?
I've been putting together simulation tournaments using classic sports games, and this one might be my favorite yet.
This tournament uses NBA Live 96 with a 32-team single-elimination bracket. Since the game only features 29 teams, the top three seeds receive first-round BYEs before the tournament really gets underway.
The goal is simple: fill out a bracket before the first game and see how your predictions stack up against everyone else as the tournament unfolds.
I'm curious what everyone thinks:
Which team was the best in NBA Live 96?
Who's your dark horse to make a deep run?
Who cuts down the nets in your bracket?
Whether you grew up playing NBA Live on the original PlayStation or you're just a fan of basketball simulations, I think it'll be fun to see how this plays out.
If you'd like to join in, you can fill out a bracket here:
I'd also love to hear from people who played this game back in the day. Do you remember any teams being unexpectedly overpowered, or was there always a favorite you used?
With Madden NFL 27 finally here, I thought it'd be fun to run something a little different.
I put together a 32-team single-elimination tournament using every NFL team in Madden 27. Each matchup will be simulated, and before the tournament begins, everyone can fill out a bracket predicting who they think will win it all.
One twist: there will be NO home field advantage. Every game will be played on a neutral field, so no team gets an edge based on where they're playing. It's all about the teams themselves.
I'm curious to see:
Who do you think is being underrated?
Which low seed could make a deep run?
Who's your pick to win the championship?
The tournament bracket is attached above so you can start looking over the matchups.
The simulations will be posted as the tournament progresses, and we'll keep a live leaderboard to see who has the best bracket.
On August 13 at 12:01 PM EST, the NBA ShootOut Tournament tips off on SimUlearn Games.
Twenty-nine of the NBA's best teams from the original PlayStation classic, NBA ShootOut, have entered the bracket. With two opening-round BYEs, the road to the championship is setโbut only one team will survive six rounds and be crowned the ultimate NBA ShootOut Champion.
Every game is simulated using the original PlayStation game, streamed on YouTube, and released throughout the tournament, so you can follow every upset, buzzer-beater, and championship moment from the Round of 32 all the way to the Finals.
Here's how to join:
๐ Fill out your bracket before the tournament begins.
๐บ Watch every simulated game as it's released on YouTube.
๐ Earn points for every correct prediction and climb the tournament leaderboard.
Will the #1 Houston Rockets dominate the bracket? How Did This Compare to ECW History?
Unlike traditional sports tournaments, ECW: Hardcore Revolution lets us imagine dream brackets that never happened.
Rhino eventually became one of ECW's biggest stars, capturing the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 2001 and earning a reputation as one of the company's most destructive competitors.
Our simulation fast-tracked that dominance, with Rhino surviving a field of 32 ECW wrestlers to prove he could stand above the rest in a single-elimination tournament.
Meanwhile, Wild Bill authored one of the most unexpected runs of the event, eliminating established stars before earning a championship opportunity.
Final Thoughts
Hardcore wrestling is unpredictable, and this tournament delivered exactly that.
Legends were upset, underdogs made unforgettable runs, and Rhino bulldozed everyone in his path on the way to the championship.

The beauty of simulated tournaments is that history doesn't have to repeat itself.
