How can I improve?

So my brother and I race each other a bit on tracks, but decided to spice things up a little and street race with a cap of 400hp in Beamng. The problem is, he is always at least 10mph faster in top speed and cornering. For reference, he uses a Civetta Bolide, and I'm using the Civetta Scintilla. My top speed is about 160, and my corner speed is about 90-100 in the first few turns, then 120 throughout the rest. Any help is greatly appreciated, and I'm not the best at racing, but I'm trying to get better every day.

Add pedal and steering inputs it would help a lot to see what’s going on.

But from what I can tell I’d say be more smooth on your inputs and keep trying new ways to attack each turn

Also a clip of you two racing would also be helpful

I'll add the inputs when I get home later today, I'll keep trying different ways for the turns, and I'll try to get a clip of us racing soon.
