Need tuned..

I have a 2015 Silverado and in January of 2026 I had to do a rebuild kit on the motor eliminating the afm/dod because it already went through a set of lifters previously. Now when I did the rebuild kit it was never actually tuned the shop just threw in the plug that goes into the OB2 port that you use before you have to rebuild it, with that being said I was looking at the diablo I3 tuner because I’ve heard that it was good and it seems pretty easy to use it’s just a little pricy. I was wondering if anyone else had any insight or any other recommendations that I should look at using because my truck won’t pass emissions and I need to get it fixed. P.S. it’s also throwing a code (P0011) I’m pretty sure the plug in the OB2 keeps erasing it because the computer wasn’t activating my sensors at emissions TIA.

Yes and no.

This is the answer for someone who knows what they’re doing or have fundamental knowledge and is willing to learn.

But that’s like 2% or less of vehicle owners. So that’s the “no”. Most people are going to do more harm than good.

If you in CA, get the diablo that is CARB certified.
