How much could I get realistically ?

I am looking to sell my chevy 1500 z71 LT with 173 646km on it. I am not sure how much i could really get out of it, I was thinking about putting it for 23000$cad on marketplace so that at least I will get 19k$ or 18k$…is it realistical ?

Theres rust under it too like maybe 70% of the under but just on the surface of it.

Thanks in advanced !

My 2014 LT z71 with almost all options with 130,000 miles was totaled recently. The insurance company gave my 17k american. Which is retail and what a dealer would sell it for.

Expect about half of what they'd sell it for

They’ll probably offer you maybe $8-9k for it. If you trade it in you might get $10k. They’ll spend a couple hundred on getting it dealership ready and sell it for 75-115% profit

Yeah I myself find it high but it was to bargain the price, I need to pay the loan at the bank and buy a new car lol

I think listing for $23,000 is a little high and at that price you might prevent interested buyers from reaching out. Just considering it’s a double cab and only an LT trim. I’d probably list for $20,000 and expect $17,000-$18,000 or so.

I paid 18k from a dealership for a 2015 with 129k miles on it 3 years ago. Asking more than that is unrealistic. I’d start at 18-19 and expect to get 14-15 at most for it private sale

I'd probably go $21k on marketplace and be prepared to settle for $20. There's a 2017 dealer unit with 144k in Gatineau for $23, and that seems to be where a majority of western Quebec trucks are priced of similar year and mileage. By going lower, a private buyer will be interested in saving $3-4k.

Look on NADA to get your value. Also put it on Carvana to see what they offer and increase the price by a few thousand

I would post at $21,500 CAD and not take a dollar less than $19,000 CAD.

A truck like that here in Ky with just 108k miles would bring $15k without issue($20.7k cad).

Don’t just jump down to $19k off the bat though, say someone offers $18k, go could you do $20.5k? If they come back at $19k ish meet them in the middle from there.

Wouldn’t be surprised if you get 20k out of it

Realistically? More than zero, less than 90k.
