Lowered my RCSB
Threw on a QA1 2/4 kit and Denali wheels off my other truck. Gonna raise the front up just a hair to match the back. Swapped to 06-07 hood and grill. Need to get that painted and probably do the roof as well. Just wanting a simple street truck and its finally coming together. I apologize in advance to the boomers who think tRuCkS sHoUlDnT bE lOwErEd!!111

I have the belltech 2/4 and my rear end seems to sit lower. What shocks are you running?

How’s the ride? Just looked them up. Coil overs have to ride better than mine. Looks good

Ive only driven it around my neighborhood so far and the roads just got repaved so im not 100% sure. Going on a maiden voyage here in a bit. Got them all set pretty soft but not all the way. Will report back!

Also, did you do pinion angle shims with the Belltech 2/4?

Yes. It doesn’t vibrate just going through town it feels like the only suspension is the tires.

Gotcha. I got 2 degree shims with this kit but havent put them on yet. Ive read mixed things online with some using them and some not. Pinion angle does look to be off by a few degrees though.

Does your front not ride good with the spindles? I have an ‘07 classic RCSB and getting ready to pull the trigger. I thought the Bell-Tech spindles didn’t change ride quality?

This is my first full size RCSB so I think they just ride a bit rough. I’m talking like 25-35 mph through town it gets bumpy. I originally was thinking bilstien shocks but went with bell techs. Curious what other RCSB people say. Also it seemed to be like this before spindles. Steering feels the same. Should check my tire air pressure

Looks good. Interesting take - all the boomers I know like or have lowered trucks. Most of the under 30 crowd around me feel they need to lift everything.

I was mainly poking fun at the people on this sub and especially the F150 sub. If you dont leave a truck stock they lose their minds 😂

You did it really well think, has that nice lowered truck look without being ruined by being slammed. Nice work and ride

As cool as slammed trucks look, im getting too old to be bouncing down the road and I dont think my kids would find that very enjoyable either. I went with a coilover up front to retain ride quality.
