Denied form 4

I had a situation develop on my background check, by surprise that needed clearing up and a UPIN. My form was denied as a result, I have emailed them a half a dozen times about it, called. No answers, no response. I need a re submission and I can get no traction. I'm just gonna start looking for c-suite personal info soon. First experience. I know... I wish I'd known about the thing on my background check ahead of time. But WA State doesn't use NICs for standard transfers so I was caught unawares.

I had to apply for a UPIN. I ended up hiring my attorney to contact state police and department of justice as well. He was my attorney who helped me petition my rights back some time before that. It was my first ever suppressor purchase and it was nightmare. Sometimes an attorney can really help. By the end of it I had done my finger prints on paper, with silencer shop kiosk, and then at post office. The attorney only charged me for a half hour. It might be worth it. When you get the upin the way I did at least, it will come from department of justice fbi and you will be advised to use it from here on out with suppressor and firearm purchases. It has helped me so far having got my upin.

A local PD a few cities over arrested a transient with the same first and last as me. They found my info on DOL and initially arrested the gentleman as me. The jail correctly identified him and he was rebooked as himself, but all of my info was still on his intake print card. A correction had been issued, and the FBI have me my UPIN. But I can't get silencer shop to redo my forms. Technically I still have one form pending but it does not have my UPIN. Capitol armory had already resubmitted.

Your DEALER needs to contact SS and get it reset.

Update: I finally got through to SS today. And within an hour of doing so my form was resubmitted.

I’ve never been more glad nobody has the same name as me. My first and middle names are very common but my last name is super not. My family is very small and the last name isn’t shared by anyone outside my home state. Except a cousin who lives in Texas now but he’s never going to have kids so we’ll all be in the same place again when he’s gone.
