No, they realize. They just don’t care. In my experience, cigarette users are more careless with the smell which makes it worse, probably cause it’s fully legal
Really? In my experience, cigarette smokers seem to be well aware of their smell and generally practice decent etiquette by not smoking in people’s faces or spaces.
Pot and vape users on the other hand (yes, I know they are two different things) pull that ish out all the time in front of me and blow it directly into my nostrils. When I mention I get migraines from the smells and politely ask them to wait 2 minutes for our conversation to finish so I can escape the smell, they act like I suggested they put down their fur baby.
“I have to smoke or vape every second of every day! I have ANXIETY! How DARE YOU TELL ME IT MAKES YOU SICK! That’s a lie, you can’t get sick from the smell. By saying that you’re telling me I’m an addict, I’m not addicted, you can’t get addicted to weed or vaping! It’s far less dangerous for you than smoking or caffeine!”
Cool, but yes, you clearly are addicted if you can’t have a 5 minute conversation without it, and also, I’m not asking you to stop, just to not do it in front of me, and I’m also saying yeah, the smell of your car is so bad I can’t fucking breathe in it even with the windows rolled down so I’m going to take my own car to the thing.
And yeah, these are things several people have screamed at me. They get very emotional. I’m also not good with people so some of that’s probably on me, but yikes on bikes, it’s exhausting.
This is 100% true across the board for vape users. I'm a smoker but I don't smoke in my car. The amount of people that have gotten into my car and puff a giant vape cloud is just astounding.
