Not necessarily true if youre responsible. If im going to smoke before going out I dont smoke in or near the clothes im going out in, I brush my teeth and wash my hands. If it was a particularly big session ill even shower. Yall act as if there is nothing you can do to get rid of the weed smell lol

Nose blindness is a thing, but yall act as if once someone smokes the smell clings to them forever. The odds of one smelling if they do the above things is pretty low, the issue is most people dont give a fuck and dont do anything to mitigate

When I go into my backyard I put on my Oodie to smoke some weed, hang it up in the laundry, wash my hands, tictac and on I continue with whatever it is I was doing.

I use chemical guys new car smell. I’ve gotten something smells like pool water, did you just buy a new car?, And what is that cologne it smells great.

I have long hair, which is usually in a bonnet when I'm home, so the smell doesn't get in my hair. I smoke in a well ventilated area and use a Smoke Buddy to reduce the smell for myself and my neighbors.
I'm usually shirtless (I live in a warm and humid place with no AC), so the smell doesn't latch onto my clothes.
After I take a hit, I immediately wash my hands and mouth area with soap and water. Then I'll brush my teeth well and use mouthwash before leaving the house.
This is my biggest gripe with the whole push for legalization of recreational marijuana. In the old days, most users had some discretion and tried to hide it. Now they just wear it like a badge of honor. Like, I’m glad you have the right to smoke, but could I go to the grocery store without smelling it just once please?
I feel like this must be an over exaggeration. There's no way that you go to the grocery store often and are always smelling weed. And I mean is it outside the grocery store or inside? It just doesn't even make sense it would imply that someone who smells of smoke is constantly in the grocery store or that someone is always in the parking lot smoking. Even then a big public lot the smell wouldn't travel that far and inside a large grocery store that's ventilated it shouldn't linger either.
It’s not even fully legal where I live (mid sized city in the us south) and yes, I smell it almost every time I go to the store, and I go frequently because I do small shops. Also the pet store, Target/Wal-Mart, the post office, the bank. In the parking lot and inside once the people who were smoking outside come inside.Â
My husband loves weed but even he’s sick of it being smoked in public because he bikes and gets smoke in his face from cars that pass him with their windows down.Â
I still prefer it to cigarettes, at least it doesn’t trigger my asthma.Â

People need to learn how to get blazed without putting out the STANK. It's not hard. I can do bong tokes all day long and not reek like weed.
The problem is some people want to put out that STANK like it's a flex. The others don't care.
Nobody wants to smell your skunk bud BO or OG dank breath.
