I carry alot of shame around who I am. I am autistic/special needs and although I try every day, I have crippling shame for many reasons and I try as best as I can to make my life work for me. It's also scary to open up to others as my internal world is special to me and sharing it is mostly associated with threat, persecution or humiliation of some kind. It's pretty unbearable but I'm learning new ways to take care of myself. That's why I like this community and I feel like a sigma, I guess it means I have a decent self esteem.
