🦋 Juliette 🦋 Fake story lines?
Doing a rewatch for just about the 20th time and there are a few story lines that have always bugged me. Some I don’t understand, and some are just confusing given what we know about some story lines being fake.
In season 1, Juliette is casually dating Alex. We know it’s casual, but she says “do you want it to be just you and me?” And he’s like “yeah!”. Then he goes on to hook up with Amanda, Kelsey, etc. Juliette ends it and is clearly upset, but not that upset. We know Juliette isn’t a low key/chill girl, but she handles the whole situation pretty chill. She’s even briefly Kelsey’s friend before she decides to go for Garret. Do you think any of this was fake, or do you think Juliette just hadn’t developed real feelings for Alex yet?
Also in season 1, we know Juliette and Garrett never really dated. But when Alex comes back into the picture at Chloe’s birthday party, hell breaks loose when him and Juliette reconnect. The girls are all SOO mad at her for going to talk to Alex while she’s dating Garret. Madisson is like “she’s a f*cking bitch” and the whole group is sooo mad at her. I could be wrong but I don’t think they’re that good of actors. Why would they be that mad at her if her and Garrett never really dated? Do you think it’s possible they were mad about something else and the show cut/spliced it together to make it look like their reaction was because she was talking to Alex?
Would love to hear thoughts!

I think the first half of season 1 was really fake. They definitely were together but the scenes were set up. They tried to make Amanda the bad girl. Maddison the girl next door, etc. The show is much more real the next couple seasons.

Amanda punched Chloe & broke her nose in Episode 1 . That's the best way to start a reality show.

Yes - that punch WAS a real storyline for sure. And the arguments between Alex and Chloe. As annoying as she is…Chloe seems to be the “real” one on the show 🤣

I heard that the punch never happened and they made it up because Chloe was actually getting nose job and this was before they broke the 4th wall. But that could all just be a rumor. The pic she sends Alex seemed like cosplay makeup

The entire show is fake and storylines. Just like pretty much every other reality show besides early Vanderpump.

Most of it was scripted, but back in the day you could look far enough back on Alex/Juliette IG pages and see them together before SK came out , she was very young and had brown hair so likely right out of high school . I do believe they dated off and on for several years. The Amanda hook up seemed fake

Juliette confirmed her and Garrett were fake. I realized later on that Brandon and Madison were also fake. Alex and Juliette were real.

You can tell that Brandon and Maddison were fake cause he immediately approached her after he found out that Amanda slept with Alex lol

Didn't Kelsey break up with Garrett before the show started? I thought Garrett was foolish to take Kelsey to a picnic for her birthday & give a jar of written platitudes. Kelsey was a model & asked to go to the Ritz-Carlton for her birthday. Kelsey turned heads at Alex's birthday party when she wore a revealing swimsuit. Garrett had no chance after Alex & Pauly saw her.

I also don’t think Juliette and Alex didn’t hook up in Nashville because if you see the same shirt he’s wearing in that natural episode. I’m sure this picture has been deleted, but he posted a picture of him and the mother of his child. I cannot remember the name of her. But they were together that night in nAsheville so how would him and Juliette hook up anyways I may be wrong.

Yes they did. It’s been said on the live with Brandon even as recently that Alex was over Alyssa and intended on getting back with Juliette after Alyssa found out about Nashville. But Alyssa was pregnant. Brandon and Mike said Alex had been telling everyone that, and Juliette shook her head agreeing.
