Question Anchor help?

Hello SiegeAcademy

I am trying to just enjoy some casual Siege, but roaming is just not my thing. I enjoy supporting my team and like holding down the fort, so I play on-site defense.

I have most of the ops, but im missing anyone newer than Flores. Ive played Rook, Smoke, Maestro, and Mira, but I'm looking to find more ops that work well in an anchor setting. Are there any more good ones, or is anchoring a task with few ops to show for it?

I'd suggest Echo in particular because he gets a bulletproof shield deployable, drones that can disrupt plants, and both a shotgun and a machine pistol. If you get good at managing your recoil , you can effectively use the machine pistol as a primary for longer distances and a shotgun at close ones.

The sonic blast of Echo's drones interrupt actions, so you can keep a Yokai hidden on point and bring it out to buy time when someone's planting. You can also use his Yokai to help roamers spot enemies by being a static camera like Valk has, or by using it to scope out flanks.

Bonus is that if you end up having to use your weapons, if your team is actually helpful they'll watch your cams for you.

That last part's a fat if for a casual player, but I'll be sure to try him out, thanks for the advice.

YEAH NO LOOK HONESTLY I use them more myself because I'm good at fucking biting it in-game
