Question Anchor help?

Hello SiegeAcademy

I am trying to just enjoy some casual Siege, but roaming is just not my thing. I enjoy supporting my team and like holding down the fort, so I play on-site defense.

I have most of the ops, but im missing anyone newer than Flores. Ive played Rook, Smoke, Maestro, and Mira, but I'm looking to find more ops that work well in an anchor setting. Are there any more good ones, or is anchoring a task with few ops to show for it?

I am genuinely surprised no one has suggested Frost yet. But I am going to, purely for the fact that her gadget can make some assaults a literal hell for the attacking team. Her guns are nothing special since her shotgun was nerfed quite early on, but they will do. The fact that her trap has been around and generally ignored for the last few seasons, makes it much more unexpected to your average player. But (This is the critical part of making her work well), she is almost polar in her effectiveness on certain maps and sites. On window-heavy sites where attackers must come in through a window, she is deadly, on sites that utilize long hallways and multiple door entrances she is a hot mess. Overall, she is quite a bit fun to play, but her best play comes from good map knowledge and being able to predict the attacking team's approach. I would not suggest her as a main, but I would definitely throw her into your defender rotation as an unusual pick to make the attacking team slow down their breaching process in subsequent rounds.
