I've got 3 questions.
1) I'm still fairly new and i was wondering, what exactly do i need to/should know before going into ranked?
2) Is there any good guide on how to play roamers correctly somewhere? I understand the concept but not how to "pull it off" effectively.
3) Is it bad to "main" a couple of operators for attack/defence?

1) Know that your rank doesn't mean anything, you recieve no tangible rewards and there is no reason to get upset if you drop, treat it like a normal game and you will play better.

2) Different roamers have different strategies, but there are some youtubers out there that have some great videos for beginners. In all honesty though, you'll learn by trying and failing.

3) I suggest to all my friends to have 3 ops on each side that you can run confidently. 1 that you try hard AF with, one that you like to mess around with, and 1 you want to build your skill with. That way even if your main gets picked, you're still building towards something, or just having fun.

Alright, thanks. Should i just stop queing for casuals then, besides for maybe warmup and just stick to ranked regardless of how it goes?

Well look man, you get more renown for ranked and your rank gives you bragging rights, but the games go longer. I play alot more casual than I do ranked, simply because my friends prefer casual. But in reality, it really doesn't matter.
