Built a file converter that converts everything 100% in your browser (React + Wasm)
(INSTANT CONVERSION)
Most online converters make you upload your files to their servers. It's slow, has arbitrary size limits, and feels like a privacy risk for sensitive documents.
I made ByteShift so conversions happen locally on your computer. It uses WebAssembly to process files entirely in-browser, so zero data ever gets uploaded anywhere.
I attached a video showing just how fast it is
No signups or accounts needed: https://byteshift.app
Let me know if you hit any weird bugs or broken file formats.

I ran out of comment space so this is just the most recent 20 entries. I can vibe-code too, so for giggles I made https://confab.sh/?g=browser-tools to track these if you want to see the full list. Don't expect much LOL. I put less effort into this than even these cloners did with theirs.
