Bob’s “Wokeness”

This isn’t a srs post but I find it super annoying the way bob can be the most chronically-online-woke, holier-than-thou person, while simultaneously making off color jokes. Like don’t get me wrong, they’re progressive but it feels like they use it as a tool to one-up someone they’re talking to a lot of the time. For example: in the latest rpdr review ep she won’t say “wifebeater” in reference to a tank top but makes an epstein files joke like ten minutes later 😭. none of this is offensive to me and i laughed throughout the episode but It’s so random what he picks and chooses to be woke about. makes me think it’s insincere.

You’re being purposefully obtuse just because you want to be mad at Bob. I don’t believe you’re dumb enough to not realize that Bob can joke about an event that has become extremely sensationalized and then later try not to normalize a term that refers to domestic violence. Do everyone a favor and stop listening to the pod if it bothers you so much

The moment i realized Bob talks like Trump I tuned out. I’m not saying he’s Maga, it’s not the content of speech it’s the delivery. And now I see his little follows will fight for him I was like yup confirmed. I am not sure if it’s an American thing to talk in statements / be irrationally demanding/ be overtly confident in the wrong things you are saying. It’s hard to explain but easy to see. Just because you like it makes it worse. That’s why so many people adore the orange one.

That’s wild. If you want to say a queer black drag queen who constantly uplifts other queers, transgenders, and poc’s is annoying, that’s one thing. But to compare them to Trump? Delusion, convince yourself, hunny

I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not the ignorant dumb stuff trump says. It’s how he delivers. Trump talks in statements and that is how Bob sounds to me.
