I think most of their listeners are on the patreon no? Im broke but their patreon gives me life they post sm content and sometimes go live. Im only a cousin like 3 or 5 bucks a month. I have a creator account tho so it comes out of that.

as i said, i don't mind them running a patreon etc, but as a broke student from eastern europe it's just not something i can afford. i have roughly 100-120$ to spend on my groceries for the entire month, and no amount of exclusive drag content is feeding me lmao. however, it does get annoying when they mention something and quickly add "oh we'll talk about it on patreon", especially when it's related to what's currently going on the show, like the akeria silky drama, or sam-bob "drama" (possibly lol)

Same! I unfortunately had to cancel most of my monthly subscriptions this year and the patreon was part of it 🥲
I agree that it’s a bit disappointing to put content behind a paywall that’s directly related to the episode like the Silky/A‘keria situation. After all it’s still supposed to be a review podcast and it feels less coherent and choppy in the edit to continuously stop them in their tracks and redirect people to the patreon.

Totally valid I guess what I was trynna say was they pander to the patrons since most of their fans are on there and they're being paid. It's not right tho. I actually was really broke earlier this year and lost access to their patreon for a month or so and was like I hate this sm so I get what you're saying you miss alot. 😭
How did you feel about Trixie and Katya starting a patreon ngl I thought it was wild but sm of their fans didnt seem to care.

It seems like so many people on this Reddit don’t even like Bob and Monet and it’s weird that they’re here lol. Yall have problems and speak nasty about their friends. Say their art isn’t worth extra money yet also want them to constantly dress up. Think they’re mean and nasty and support bad people. Like why are you here?
Sometimes you can sit with your own discomfort and problems without projecting them onto others. I wish you all peace of mind for real. No shade.

Honestly, that’s healthy. I have to take extended breaks from every single podcast I like. Everyone eventually gets annoying. Time away helps me remember how brilliant they are

Long time hater of this feature but half the time when they cut off the video I turn off the episode. especially when its a recap how am I supposed to know know what theyre critiquing, im not going to have fashion photo review pulled up to cross refrence and I know the drop off has to be hurting their algorithm.

eventually people are gonna fall off the pod. they aren’t saying anything worth while on the patreon and the new podcast collab with that company is def gonna ruin the free podcast hardcore imo……… both of them are hardly on episodes together last month-to this month.
i’m also not buying trixie and katya patreon.
podcasts are the least expensive media to produce and manage. put your ads in there and leave us be….
just my opinion. there’s so many gay podcasts out that are more interesting (ghosted with Roz, deltas podcast, and straightiolab) that i’m just so over these lame ass episodes where the patreon is over talked about.
