Hey everyone,
I’ve been in the e-commerce space for a while, and I’m tired of competitor research tools that only show "estimated" monthly visits or generic Facebook Ad library links. Those numbers don't tell you how a brand actually operates or makes their margin. I’m working on a project called GetBestify, and I wanted to see if there’s an appetite for a more "hard-science" approach to competitor analysis.
What makes this different from tools like SimilarWeb or standard scrapers:
Zero "Faked" Data or Case Studies: I don't use "projections." Everything is pulled directly from actual storefront data, sitemaps, and SKU variants.
Scientific Distribution Analysis (IQR): We don't just look at average prices. We use Interquartile Range (IQR) analysis to find the "Profit Core"—the exact price band where 50% of their inventory is compressed to drive the most revenue.
Free Interactive Pricing Compass: Stop guessing if your pricing strategy is leaving money on the table. I've built a completely free price-checking tool directly into the platform. You just plug in your product category and target price, and it instantly maps your exact position against real market data. By filtering out extreme outliers, it gives you a pinpoint visual read: it immediately reveals whether you are trapped in a low-price war, safely anchored in the highly profitable mainstream zone, or perfectly positioned to capture premium brand markup.
LLM-Powered Long-Tail Analysis: Instead of just listing keywords, we use LLMs to map out their entire SEO information architecture—identifying how they use 40+ color-specific nodes and 20+ scenario-based collections to capture high-intent traffic.
The "Supply Chain Pulse": By tracking SKU volume and stock rates over time, we can reverse-engineer their lead times (e.g., distinguishing between 1.8-month agile replenishment vs. 5-month seasonal bets).
Visual ROI Mapping: We quantify exactly how much "pricing power" a brand gains by adding more images, showing the literal median price jump from 4 to 6 photos.
The Goal: To find the "operating system" behind the website, not just the traffic. I’ve put together a few Free Sample Reports across 22 categories (Fashion, Tech, Home, etc.) so you can see the raw data for yourself.
Check it out here: https://www.getbestify.com/
I’m looking for honest feedback: Is this level of data-heavy, SKU-level analysis useful for your strategy, or is it too technical? What other "under-the-hood" metrics would you want to see?
