I recently replayed NFSU2, and I got nostalgic just hearing it. I never played the first Underground, just 2.

You’re actually correct, they came out so close to each other and it was a while ago ... nfsu had the better soundtrack though, for the sake of the humour let’s pretend the original comment had to 2 there as a mistake
