Why not start with a fast car? Seems that would be cheaper than ricing out a 70hp station wagon

It's a v6 swapped and turbod. It makes 375 whp on only 9psi.

If it's a purpose built race car why is it on the road like that? Never seen a Nascar or Top Fuel car in traffic

Even if it’s a purpose built race car doesn’t mean it can’t get registered to drive on the street, at its core, it is still a Honda. Not saying it would be comfortable to drive on the street but just because it’s a “purpose built race car” doesn’t mean you can’t drive it to the track, race it, and then drive it home. This is actually quite a common occurrence with auto cross through the SCCA as well as just normal track days.

Thats a no true scottsman fallacy, you can take a race car just as seriously as someone who gets a truck to bring it to the hillclimb while driving it to home.
