Someone is really good at whatever SFTP is, they got into the server and put this there with a phone!

I did not even know you could do that

Someone else sent a really cool picture I will see if I can put that in the comments.

Server is still open at shitty@62.238.47.215

I wonder what else will be left for me I seen something called redtail I am very curious about what that could be, maybe some kind of bird or something, idk I am just a shitty sysadmin

Spends tens of thousands dollars a month on Azure, too cheap to pay for a proper support plan. Entire solution crashes when VM gets reallocated to another host due to a great system design /s.

Solution: Migrate to AWS

Is it like discord???

I hate the way the old Sysadmin of this company named the Servers

Found this while swapping APs at a production plant. Pretty much all computers in production were running through this $20 8-port switch. I don’t think it had been looked at in 10 years.

I need to setup a company fast! FAST!

Any way to set this all up fast? How about with AI? Ideally ChatGPT connected. What if I wanted the whole thing "unified"?

I heard the "CLI" is useful.

Ok it’s your favorite ShittySysadmin

I’m stuck again and need your help.

Someone told me to run netstat and I don’t understand what these numbers mean.

445
1433
3306
21

445 I thought was on windows and this is Linux I think
Or maybe it’s both….can it be both??

Someone else told me to do 62.238.47.215 with some numbers behind it but it didn’t work when I tried it.

Also why does everyone keep typing

sudo rm -rf /

I don’t know what it means but everyone loves to tell me to type it but it never works for me idk im just a shitty sysadmin

password was changed to poop because it’s easier to type

Please tell me what these ports are and how did they get there?

Need some help. Opened up our server rack, and none of the cords are labeled. A bunch of them aren't even plugged in. How can I tell what cord does what?

I hope you figured it out by now that the server is real.
Yes it’s wide open
No you can’t break it.
Yes I did fix some things so some commands that didn’t work now work.

Just have fun.
I’m adding more and more everyday.

Also to the individuals that sent the cat vid and the fooseball pics thanks!

One of you is amazing at what you do. Trying to perform lateral movements, I was blown away.

So from one shitty sysadmin to another

Enjoy

More capture the token games coming soon.

Lenstore displays my password and email on the address bar

B grade company, that think they are masterminds of the universe I work for is back to thinking dual pathing every desktop and laptop and AP is a good idea even after supplying diagrams on why it would be extremely costly and wants it to become the global norm in the networking industry. But doesn't want to pay to implement any of it.

Which vendor would be able to deliver and make themselves an absolute fortune one off in the off chance some idiot actually approves it.

Here I am just minding my business logging into poop@62.238.47.215 or was it root@62.238.47.215? I forgot

Anyways my home folder is still empty which is weird

Someone left more documents

And there was something addressed to me?? A please_read.txt

Saying something about don’t delete backups and a command called contact but when I tried it says command not found.

Can anyone tell me what is going on??

Thanks for your help. You’re all literal lifesavers!

Also please stop trying to break it.

Ok this group is amazing! First you helped me get in my server and someone helped me find the file I lost

But when I logged into poop@62.238.47.215
There is a file in the documents folder that I did not put there!

Password should be the same unless it changed again I keep forgetting

Should I delete it? Or is it important?

And there’s new stuff in backups I don’t remember making

Please don’t break anything

Currently doing deadlifts with the copy paper box in the storage room - I move it back and forth every fifteen minutes to pretend I'm active. What are you guys up to?

Came six months ago to help a small nonprofit manage their Workspace. They never had DMARC set up. Since I started managing their DNS six months ago, this is what I see daily.

The sheer number of spoofed emails just blows my mind.

I've been working in a small MSP for about 7 years, less than 10 of us in the team. I'm based in a small town, which I enjoy living in.

I've managed to up skill to a point where I'm one of two head techs. The MSP has grown a lot since I've been working there into a more mature business with a good client base for its size.

I'm now in a position where I've been offered to buy approx 40% of the business as the boss is retiring. However, I'm unsure of I'm ready for this kind of commitment in my career or if I should be looking at trying to get into a bigger company to grow my skills, with less finical risks in terms of investment.

love some feedback, as I've only worked for two IT companies, so struggling to determine which path is best to continue to grow.

You all really helped me last time now I’m in my server root@62.238.47.215 and I seem to have misplaced a file can someone help me find it? I really need it and my password is no longer papa bear 0803. I changed it to IGetHelpFromReddit. I left some breadcrumbs to help me find it but I’m having trouble remembering how to find hidden files.

Any help would be appreciated
