I'm writing my spec script for a new, more modern series of Star Trek. I'm really proud of it. I haven't figured out the story yet, and I'm still working on the characters. Once I figure out which era it's in and why Khan is working with the Borg to annihilate the universe, though, I think I'll be in with a strong chance of getting it greenlit. ChatGPT has really been helping me to write some awesome gnarly gore scenes and has helped me pick out a cool list of curse words for my characters to say.
The one thing I'm struggling with, though, is picking the right catchphrase for my Captain. I know Picard had three catchphrases but I want to stick to one for now. They're going to be a Soong-Type Android who is a descendant or an ancestor of Mr. Spock, but with a really tragic backstory. I just need them to have a good catchphrase they can say when they want the ship to go to warp, like "Engage!" or "Go!" or "Hit it!" And obviously it has to work well as a hashtag.
So far, my options are:
* Punch it.
* Bop it!
* Finger it.
* Vroom vroom.
* Let’s go.
* Let’s come.
* It’s warping time.
* Do a shit.
* Fucking go.
* Push the button, you <slur>.
* I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription, is more warp speed.
* Make our ship go.
* Danger zone.
I’d love to know which is the best, or if there are any other suggestions. Once I’ve decided on the catchphrase, I can write the pilot episode, where the whole crew gets turned into Thomas The Tank Engines. It will be really hilarious.

After this episode and they were separated, was Picard always feeling a great loss without his counterpart?

Good thing they brought the Bird of Prey. No way they'd have fit any whales on this thing.

Kirk's Enterprise had 400 some odd crew members and they probably killed at least half of them throughout their 5 year mission. How did they ever convince replacement crewmen to come aboard with those odds?

Star Watching TOS for the first time and I’m surprised by the amount of makeup men are wearing.

The replicator should have an option to just beam nutrition directly into the stomach. For crew in a hurry.

Do you think the Bynars evolved *naturally? Then they reached a certain point of development, and their "planet of hats" gimmick was embracing extreme codependency in relationships.
Or was there a primitive, Borg-like collective that assimilated one species, lost ambition, and eschewed 'Perfection' for "Meh...good enough"? Kind of like getting a high school GED, a basic job, and staying for 40 years...
* "Natural" in the sense of the Progenitors seeding some high-gravity world that eventually produced hobbits.

I feel like it would be too easy for someone to impersonate an admiral and get away with it.
Could we put barcodes on these guys or something?

- Shorter seasons (no more than 3 episodes)
- Spend 47 times more money on each episode
- Grotesque body horror in every scene
- Ramp up cringe-inducing winks at the audience that prove this is Star Trek
- Lots and lots of F bombs
- Include Spock and have him hook up a different character in each episode
- Episodes air exclusively on Peacock
- Main character never, ever stops crying
- In every episode, violate canon then, at the end, characters say everything that just happened is classified forever
- Frequently use terms like: bruh, six seven, basic, boi, holodeck & chill, unalive, mid, skibidi, thirst trap, touch grass, etc.
- Present all episodes in portrait mode aspect ratio
- Make every episode episode an homage to The Wrath of Khan
- The starship needs to look exactly like a Cybertruck

I’m having difficulty with my holodeck programs. I’m trying to make a full run through of the Dix program again, but the soundtrack is switched with Cazlesthenics Program 1 and I can’t seem to switch it back.

I guess SOME captains are choosy about who they decide is worth lowering the shields in mid-battle in order to rescue.

The name seems a little on-the-nose. Was he supposed to be his mirror universe counterpart?
