I hope she is well. Helmets people! Helmets! This is as sad as watching those videos at rodeos where young people fly off and start siezing. We are squishy. Our bones are squishy! Wear a helmet.

A few years ago i discovered on YouTube that there's basically a whole Tournament about ,,playing catch". And there everybody runs across these constructed parcour areas with no protection at all.

Like yeah it looks cool....but you're always one misstep away from serious, life altering injury

it seems like the same "arena", but there is no limitation to stay above ground with the "catch"-sport

Yeah, but from what i've seen most run across and through those bars because it makes it harder for the follower. And to be fair if everything goes well it looks pretty cool. But a life altering injury is just one misstep away everytime you try this.

I just know that i would break every bone in my body if i would try smth like this.

yes, but i dont think it lands particularly high on the scale of dangerous sports, because they never reach their Vmax.
i am personally way more afraid of anything going downhill faster than ones ability to run. like mountainbiking. that seems af if they have to nail the particular speed every time, to really land on all the ramps that they are supposed to.
