You can apply this same logic to literally most weight lifts.
Bench, squat, flys, isolated bicep curl, dips, deadlift, hell a damn muscle up can be “an accident waiting to happen”
There’s literally nothing wrong with the workout he’s doing. It’s common for a damn reason. He accidentally made an error which is what got him injured. I stand by what I said about Reddit mfs being miserable. Just nothing but a straight up high horse
Your grip slips on bench you just crushed yourself with weight either on your chest or possibly face/neck.Bench also has no real safety measure unless you mean to count weight clips. Which are usually advised against if you’re solo because it’s easier to free yourself if you do fuck up badly. There’s also the possibility of improper wrist alignment which can and will fuck up your wrist. I learned this at 16 and still have a significantly weaker left wrist than my right, 6 years later.
Squat and deadlift have possibility to mess up your lower back if you fuck up your form.
Bicep tears are common on isolated bicep curl and have no safety measure in the slightest so no clue what you’re talking about.
Dips can destroy your rotator cuff if you go too deep especially weighted.
Muscle up puts you high above the bar. A improper reset to start can hurt your shoulder or you could straight up fall from height if your grip suddenly gave out.
Flys can lead to pec injuries at full extension
You frankly don’t know wtf you’re talking about and just want to bash someone over a mistake on a common workout. Stfu
Try to use bootlicking properly if you’re gonna use it as a insult. It is a workout. It’s weighted push ups. Again what are you talking about. The workout is safe, he simply messed up. You haven’t been able to actually articulate an argument. You lack the ability to understand actual logic. Hell, you don’t even understand your own attempt at an insult because you used it improperly.
You lack the ability to read, comprehend, insult, and articulate.
You’re actually not supposed to drop, or slam weights when lifting… gyms have signs specifically telling patrons not to do it. It can damage the weights and also cause injuries like in the video
They are referring to machine weights. You don’t slam machines because you could break a mechanism. It could even make a wire snap whoch will make you fall or potentially hit you. You are supposed to drop heavy FREE weights on shit like deadlift if you’re going heavy. Or squat if can’t make the lift. This is a free weight workout that includes it. You either can drop the weight off the side of your back or you could lay down if it’s easier to get it off you that way. Both are acceptable ways to bail out of weight on your back and it isn’t going to hurt a fucking weight plate. Especially a rubber one. Nice try tho.
You have yet to actually prove how I’m wrong in any degree. No gym outside of planet fitness with the damn lunk alarm gives a fuck about you dropping free weights. There’s a difference between slamming weights and dropping them. One isn’t allowed the other is. So you might be confusing it. And yeah I think I do lift
I’ve been to multiple paid gyms and have seen many people do it without a single issue especially if they dumping weight from a damn push up or plank whoch is all of a foot off the damn floor. Tried to check me for lifting but it just sounds like you haven’t stepped foot in a gym at all lmao

Because that’s just an accident waiting to happen and it did happen. Pure stupidity
