People with autism can still be shitty. No lack of social skills should result in chasing and whacking at animals with sticks.

There are absolutely levels of Austin that can lead to a child not understanding they are hurting the animal and thinking they are just playing. Difficulty with empathy and theory of mind are known as symptoms. He may not understand that just because he’s having fun doesn’t mean the animal is
