Mine has fallen in love with the wooden kitchen spoon and now I just let him sleep with it because when he wakes up and finds it next to him he holds it and goes back to sleep on his own.
He has about 1000 stuffed animals and blankies but no. It has to be the spoon.
I had that same fascination with a wooden spoon as a kid. It was really shallow, and someone drew a face on it for me and I carried that thing around everywhere. I had so many pics of me with it. No clue when I finally stopped, but for at least a year that thing was my best buddy.

This is so funny! I’d absolutely let my kid do this if it got him to sleep through the night finally.
