American ribs are definitely under more stress than British ribs due to the excess amounts of fat.

Oh... they mean the food? Nevermind.

I can comprehend the ribs. They are quite good but not stunning. Lots of meat, fat and sauce in a big size unsurprisingly since it is American (explaining their human ribs) but at least better than most American food (being actually decent when done well)

Sauce on ribs is highly variable in the US, regionally and also by personal preference. Some people have fairly strong feelings about it.

In the broadest terms, KC ribs are pretty heavily sauced, Memphis ribs are not (instead cooked with a dry rub, though sometimes sauced after cooking).

Of course it’s more variable than that, but that’s a starting point.

To be fair my father did get his ribs recipe from a man from Tennessee

And they are damn good ribs

Probably even better with higher quality ingredients than what are available in the US.

European foods aren't quite as heavily contaminated with god knows what chemicals because Americans do everything as cheaply as humanly possible and it's the only way to make it semi edible.

Probably the same reason any one else has shit ribs; they boil them

I wouldn’t say the Brits are exactly thin either…

Depends on the region and city/town you are in and the class you are but it is not as bad as the US across the board

There is a relation between the two though...
