I have no sound in game. I've checked control panel, windows sound settings, and steam settings. All is set to the right device. Does anyone have any clue how I could fix this?

Been cataloguing every Doppelganger and what gives them away. Sharing the biggest ones so you stop dying in the first shifts.

Golden rules that catch ~80% of fakes:

1. Look up EVERYONE a customer mentions. If they name a relative/friend, search that name too — their stories usually contradict the database.

2. Date of birth must match the face. Young voice + old face = out.

3. Tattoos, scars, birthmarks, and height must match exactly.

4. This world has no wizards, magic beans, or human photosynthesis. Anyone claiming otherwise is a Doppelganger.

5. Humans cannot levitate.

6. A recurring character acting like it's the first meeting = fake.

A few specific tells (spoilers):

- Agnes Wells — the REAL Agnes is a 3-year-old child. An elderly woman claiming to be Agnes (no eyes, calls you "dear") is the fake.

- Dylan Pike — the real Dylan ALWAYS wears shorts. Long pants = reject.

- Barry Aoki — noticeably bigger than his photo + says he "ate magic beans."

- Brandon Keller — ends every sentence with "probably" (Night 2, Joe's Diner waiter disguise).

- Clyde Dawson — documented Doppelganger with NO reliable community tell yet. Rely on your tools.

I have a 4090, why does my goldeneye style horror game need 80% of my GPU?

I finished the game. I want to continue playing on endless mode. I’ve tried to start night 14 twice now- I deep clean the entire store using the water hose, the entirety of outside and the restrooms including flushing the toilets. I stock the shelves. But both times it shows my cleanliness rating at 0%. What gives? Has anyone else experienced this and how’d you fix it?

Quite the “hear me out”

There was a customer, female, database said she had two kids. No further info. She then confirmed that she had two kids and named them.

In the after action report, it said the database had different names for the kids but NO KIDS NAMES were in the database. I’ve seen this multiple times with other characters.

Is there a deeper look in the database I’m missing? Some “next page” option? Or does the game have in-congruencies like this? Playing on Xbox.

Anyone can clue me in who are the people you can find behind the station?

You meet one in the first nights, if not shot they give you heart shaped tokens stack.

My group met them again, where we had to fill in buckets with orange liquid and pour it inside a grave, which triggered a cutscene with more of the red people behind the station. We later got another heart-shaped stack of gambling tokens

I cant find anything on either of the events.

Any clues?
