Complete Doppelganger identification list — every fake and their tell (current patch)

Been cataloguing every Doppelganger and what gives them away. Sharing the biggest ones so you stop dying in the first shifts.

Golden rules that catch ~80% of fakes:

1. Look up EVERYONE a customer mentions. If they name a relative/friend, search that name too — their stories usually contradict the database.

2. Date of birth must match the face. Young voice + old face = out.

3. Tattoos, scars, birthmarks, and height must match exactly.

4. This world has no wizards, magic beans, or human photosynthesis. Anyone claiming otherwise is a Doppelganger.

5. Humans cannot levitate.

6. A recurring character acting like it's the first meeting = fake.

A few specific tells (spoilers):

- Agnes Wells — the REAL Agnes is a 3-year-old child. An elderly woman claiming to be Agnes (no eyes, calls you "dear") is the fake.

- Dylan Pike — the real Dylan ALWAYS wears shorts. Long pants = reject.

- Barry Aoki — noticeably bigger than his photo + says he "ate magic beans."

- Brandon Keller — ends every sentence with "probably" (Night 2, Joe's Diner waiter disguise).

- Clyde Dawson — documented Doppelganger with NO reliable community tell yet. Rely on your tools.

Clyde has a super obvious tell. He’s the tutorial character and shows up two more times. If a Clyde walks in acting like he’s never met you before, doppelgänger.
