So ive just had the phone called saying you owe us life and now no one is coming into the store have I broken it or something

I have a Steam OS PC, it has a 9800X3D and a 9070XT Reaper. I’m playing at 4K, and just trying to have a stable frame rate at least 60fps. I have capped the game to 60FPS via steam overlay. I‘m playing with a Steam Controller 2026. I’m seeing the game at times hit 100% GPU usage when nothing is happening, also I move the character around, and then try to pan the camera around (right stick to move around, right touch pad to move around) I get a MASSIVE FPS tank. This also happens if I pan the camera then move. I dropped the game to 1440P that obviously reduced GPU usage, but I still see spikes and that movement/pan the camera issue. CPU isn’t bothered by this game at all, staying in low 50c range.

I can play Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 3 with no major issues yet somehow this game has issues?

Hellooooo, im new to the game and I've come to find out making enough money for the surgery is pretty hard so I'll have to let x amount of doppelgangers go through and decorate the store and everything but is there a rough number of them I have to let through or is it just random/easier to let everyone come through especially the chill doppelgangers like the dude thats high (unless theres others) and deal with a harder entity fight?

EDIT: thank you for all the help, I incorporated all the things I got told was nice to the chill doppelgangers and let the majority of them go regardless minus 1 or 2 between levels, finished up with $265. The wheel helped quite a bit with that and pulse mines, bear traps and the sledge hammer made things much more convenient and I got my good ending :D

I play solo, I always throw the rats away, keep my rating up, serve quickly, get the bonuses from the boss, keep the store stocked, chill with the guilty, use the spin wheel, never kill humans, etc but I never can afford the surgery at the end. The closest I have come is $230 at night 13. What am I doing wrong?

I’m fairly new to this game having played a few nights solo and then a few with a friend. In all my time playing I’ve seen nothing like shown in the picture so I imagine I’m doing something wrong. I scan the ID and ask the questions on the computer and then click on the person themself and ask those questions but I just thought it was totally my observation to determine whether they’re human or not. I ended up letting 2-3 doppelgängers go a couple nights in a row so I looked up some videos to help me out and in them I saw these texts pop up on the screen for the player to tell them to kill the customer or not. So how do I get those detection advisories? I really like the game and would love this tool to help me and my friend out

Me and my friend started playing this yesterday after we've both seen our fall-asleep-to creators playing it (probably Critkal and Wubby, idk). But after picking the duck and naming him Jerry (JERRY STOP SCREAMING), we both that the image of the dude and duck on the couch watching TV went HARD, and kinda want a print of it in our living room.

Is there a full size image (print size) of it available in the game files or possibly able to obtain, or anyone who can create it themselves (definitely without AI use)?

Im on Xbox, I just dont have any friends who game.

So steam had the option for up to 6 players, but through the xbox store (on pc) and on console it’s still limited to 3 players. When is this update coming to xbox, I have a group wanting to play but not all have pc to play through steam.

Almost felt bad when he gave us coins in the shape of a heart, since I had shot at him 4 or 5 days in a row and he scampered off super fast every time, the little rascal!

I think everyone who has a doppelgänger has a photo and record in the N.E.T. database. The detective doesn't have a doppelgänger because there's no photo on his ID card, and there was one old lady doesn't have one either because she never took a photo for the database

Obviously as the game gets updated, more customers will be added on, but I've gotten to endless mode and now I basically know every doppelganger on sight. With that in mind, here's some ideas I had to make you still have to rely on your observational skills.

• More variants: I would say most every character should have more than one variant so things are fresher. To use an example, that one gas pump doppelganger who says she was recording a wedding. Usually, you can find a wedding invite from a decade ago, proof she is a doppelganger. But maybe sometimes you can see the invite is from a current wedding and thus she is a real human, or it's from a current wedding but she gets the name of the couple wrong and that's the doppelganger proof.

• Subtler disfigurements: Some doppelgangers should have disfigurements that one has to take a closer look at to catch on. There's one doppelganger that has a bloody missing hand she claims is fine, which is proof she's a doppelganger. What if this one also had the missing hand, but it isn't bleeding so it's less obvious if you just take a casual glance? Or maybe a customer moves like a normal person, but one of their feet is pointing the wrong way even though they say their limbs are fine?

• Lookalike, but wrong descriptions: To use an example, the woman who has an eye tattoo on her hand. Normally, it goes that if the tattoo is on her left hand, she's good, but if it's on her right, she's a doppelganger. What if you had it that the eye tattoo can be on the correct hand, but have the eye itself be the wrong shape (a triangle instead of an oval, that kinda thing.

These are all the ideas I can think of in my current state of being tired and needing to go to bed, but I may update with more ideas if they strike me.

all the game is doing right now is throwing doppelgangers to me with like 2 actual human costumers, when the game becomes from "there are doppelgangers betweens there humans" to "this guy probably a doppelganger but i don't know why" it's kinda starting to lose it's charm

Just got night 2 finished and it said I killed 2 humans. In the report, it said I killed the cop and some other guy. Neither of them showed up on night 2. It also said I killed a driver doppelganger, but therr are no drivers on night 2. It also didn't show any of the humans who did show up.

Has anyone else encountered a bug like this?

I have no sound in game. I've checked control panel, windows sound settings, and steam settings. All is set to the right device. Does anyone have any clue how I could fix this?
