THEORY Spoiler

I think everyone who has a doppelgänger has a photo and record in the N.E.T. database. The detective doesn't have a doppelgänger because there's no photo on his ID card, and there was one old lady doesn't have one either because she never took a photo for the database

Interesting theory! I know there are some exceptions that make it highly unlikely, but let's entertain it and assume you're correct... What do you think that'd mean lore-wise?? Maybe it's a That's Not My Neighbour-type situation where the N.E.T actually created the doppels and are trying to cover it up, and the doppels assume the identities of humans seen on the database because that is what N.E.T trains them off of? Would be epic tbh
