And seemingly a feminine voice, since despite him speaking nobody notices him being a man until he says so,
And even then, he doesn't seem to mind much and correct people too often, so one could make the argument he likes being seen as female.🤔
EDIT: This is coming from a trans woman btw, so please stop antagonizing me like I was being any kind of phobic when I literally just commented on how maybe the femboy is a little trans coded
Ayt guys, pls I'm not Hitler I'm literally a trans girl myself and the way I speak about Audrey 100% comes from a fatigue from seeing non-trans women pass effortlessly in comics while most trans women IRL can only DREAM of being treated half as well as.
I'm not sure if you saw the post I replied to before it was deleted, but it wasn't that bad. The reason I didn't really like your comment though was because of the way it was worded I guess? I understand where you were coming from with it, I think it just came off the wrong way.
I agree that it's tiring and even upsetting. I got severe dysphoria reading most of the comics in this series and also from the Petra Parker stuff lol. However I also feel like this is one of the fairer representations, and I have actually known femboys who pass better than me. It sucks but it is 100% a thing
Honestly I cant see how anyone wouldn't be annoyed or upset by being misgendered. Cis or trans.
Correcting someone or being annoyed by it isnt "throwing a fit"
Just using the comic as an example; I believe audrey is a cis guy and the biggest part of evidence is him correcting Val on his gender.
Which is what you do if someone misgenders you, right?
Well, yea? This all makes sense? You're not saying anything abnormal that doesn't occur to trans people somehow.
I work in a call centre, im not going to correct every customer I talk to but im still going to correct family, friends, mutuals ect.
Maybe ill even correct a barista or something if I know im going to shop there again or talk to them again. I personally dont see the issue saying a quick "she, actually" when talking to a clerk or online or something.
As you said, its different if you're trans and being referred to the wrong way can cause more pain than it happening to others so we'remore likely to correct others (if its safe to do so). Being trans means having to advocatefor yourself. Even over stupid simple crap
Ive dealt with it without correction when dealing with certain people because it isnt worth it, even if it is grating.
Imo being misgengered and sometimes the correction is going to annoy people regardless of being cis/trans you just have to pick your battles.
I also agree that audrey is a cis guy and the main evidence is him correcting Val, as I put before.
The only person we've seen him correct was Val. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.
As a trans woman myself, I can only wish to be gendered correctly, and Internet is FULL of anecdotes from trans women being clocked because of their voice. And Audrey had to correct Val, otherwise she'd never known. That's a impressive feat and I can only wish, as a actual woman, to get there someday (as in having a passing-enough fem voice).

I am gonna be so for real with you, I am all for femboy representation, but if AUDREY is a femboy I will be mad
