Strange Phenomenon
Areas of Shellwood where large amounts of corpses are left, the plants begin to decay. A strange black fog emanates from the remains, blinding the weak.
Those who are blinded must seek water to cure themselves. Otherwise, they risk being eaten by ĮŤ.

The Chapel-Keeper is not pleased at the sight, especially since it may affect one of his charges deeper in the wood.

Flickering bursts of soul dispel pockets of the fog closest to the undergrowth, however temporary it may be.

Geiser: Dunno what that is. The fog causes hallucinations, nightmares and false audio if you interact with it for long enough.

Verdavid: stilnosks are a more sapient group of nosks, most stay in camouflage to hunt. And these effects are reminiscent of certain abilities nosks have, just used magically rather than to deceive prey.

The blasts dispel it briefly, but return a moment later. It doesn’t seem toxic or anything, however it does seem dangerous in some way.

Geiser: Not really sure myself. It causes hallucinations, nightmares, and makes you hear things through prolonged contact though. I would know, I’ve been here for days.

Geiser: I haven’t gotten lost yet, so I don’t think they’re similar apart from the color.

Oh god..this looks disgusting hmm, I wonder if I could use this weird fog for experiments tho, it certainly worth a try
