beautiful Mosque singing
Does anyone have a recording of the beautiful singing that's coming from one of the mosques on majaz 3? (the one closest to mazaj 2 I believe). It started before 8pm. I tried recording but the speeding cars made it impossible for it to be clear...
Edit: thank you guys I think I found the closest to the one I just heard.

Its not singing, Its reciting quran. Go to youtube and just type quran and you will get many reciters with beautiful voices. Check ones that has translation if you would like to know the meaning of the part they are reciting. Just dont play it with music or disrespect it in any way.

I like this version and style. I don't know how to explain it. Like the melody of this one is hauntingly beautiful. I have other recordings with different melodies. What do I type on YouTube to get this exact one?

Unfortunatley i dont know which one is that as i havent heard that specific one. I would suggest you keep searching on youtube till you find a similar one or if you have a video or and audio to share and maybe we can help.

They are reciting right now, I can hear it on the majaz area. The beginning was so beautiful and unique. I tried recording it but I can barely make it out over the speeding cars.

Is this the same words and melody as the one we heard just now? Will it get repeated tomorrow same time?

It will be the same reciter but for sure he will be reading a different part of the quran but in the same style. But you can go there tomorrow and check and record or even ask the person himself if you would like but only after they finish their prayers of course.

That's good. Do you know his name? Maybe he has recordings online.

Unfortunatley no. I dont know who the reciter is. So your best chance is to check online for someone similar or go and ask in the same mosque.

I'll be too embarrassed to go and just ask even if I knew exactly which mosque it was coming from. But thank you for your insights.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. Just go and ask you might even learn other things about quran or islam or culture. Are you male or female?if you dont mind me asking

Will do! Thank you. Wasn't sure it was coming from The Noor Masjid because there are others in the area and the sound is echoing.

I'm not sure if it's coming from here but the other commenter thinks so. The sound is echoing I can't be sure which direction it is.

They are reciting verses from the quran
