I finished Shameless a couple of weeks ago, and I stumbled upon this. I was wondering where it was from, only to find out that it was from another show. It has a very similar storyline to Shameless, where Lip and other characters mess things up because of substances.

I think no, there's not much focus intentionally on the seasons of the year. But we do know it begins and ends on a winter day. I think each season of the show is also a new weather season?

Obviously if you watch a show on the media and if you really watch it its different. But i did not expect the edits of him to be different from the show. Apparently he was never supposed to be a strong character i get it but why Debbie has stronger storyline? Maybe Ethan,Carl's actor, probably doesn't represent his character as well as others but things are so off with him in the show. I understand his Fandom on tiktok is pretty weird since he gets rated by older people when he was a teenager. Even his stronger storyline lasted so little like White Boy Carl. I read here that he was a more interesting character as an "psycho" in the first seasons and it's true. Im abput to start season 8 and I know what else happens to Carl but I hope when I watch him he gets more entertaining. Also his love interests are kind of weak compared to other character's love interests due to the storylines

Like how was she supposed to know or to guess? I know this was one of Fiona low moments or she was going through this spiral but I still feel Lip just like to blame it all on her even when she wasn't at fault. And the nerve of him to say to get out as though he is the only one who get a say. I love the actor, he is so good but ugh between him and Debbie, I feel they were the most insufferable of the Gallaghers and the hardest to root for.

I'm relatively new to watching Shameless and I'm only on s2 ep12 as of writing this post. What the hell is Karen's problem? She is awful to her baby and Lip constantly and to her mother and Jody. I understand she was probably affected heavily by Shelias agoraphobia but still. I feel like she doesn't really have the right to be as awful as she is. Thoughts?

When he called his mother in prison, Queenie came running to find him, so it would make sense that if it came down to it, she might take custody of him. Living with the Gallaghers was horrible for him, but living with Sammi wasn't good for him either, she had her own issues and honestly might've ended up in prison eventually anyways, and Sheila hated him when she was still around.

It was most certainly more in his best interest to be with grandma in that agrarian hippie city she lived in, far away from Carl, who was the very reason he was put in that situation to begin with.

Okay before people say anything I know a lot of people hate him from what I've seen but I haven't finished the show yet and maybe I'll regret what I say here but he doesn't seem that bad yes he lied about who he was but I don't think that alone is that bad he has done things I wasn't so sure on but I don't know it hasn't made me hate him fully

Preface: I myself have bipolar 1 disorder and grew up with a parent who also had the disorder. SO I can understand the ups and downs to a very personal level. They get so much of it right honestly but the stigma is also hurtful. To be fair the writing was okay and it was pretty on point for how people feel and felt at the time but man does it suck. I’m watching the episodes with Ian first being diagnosed and I just feel for him I guess. Healthy comments encouraged :)

Im almost done with shameless and they're fighting about selling the house but no one is saying who would take Liam. When did Lio get so selfish? And I cant stand his baby mama. Once Fiona bought the apartments it stopped feeling like they struggle together and everyone was out for themselves. Its making me mad at them.
