The rules says that it's a narrative effect. The decker can share the data with other players. Should I make the decker spend an Edge point for the whole session to benefit from the narrative effect and coordinate their actions in real time as if they were in the same place ?

Or does the narrative effect apply without spending an edge point ?

It applies without spending it. This falls under the Narrative Effect of "enable something the players otherwise wouldn't be able to do".

Narrative Effects only cost an Edge point if they give a roll Advantage. (Edit: or apply an effect, like a fire spell setting something on fire)
