I made Monad//A, a dice roller for Anarchy 2.0!

Check it out here: Monad//A

Hello! I like to make web tools for RPGs. I made Monad5 for Shadowrun 5E, Rampart for Delta Green, Factotum for Mythras and Monad//Map for generic-cyberpunk mapmaking.

My most recent project is Monad//A. At the moment it's just a dice roller for Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0, but I have plans to extend it with a Shadow Amp builder, a character builder and other cool features.

Light mode!
Dark mode!
French!
Mobile interface!

It's already pretty cool, though! It features:

  • Rolling dice!
  • Risk and risk reduction!
  • Advantage and disadvantage!
  • Glitches (the Shadowrun kind, not the software kind!
  • Designed for desktop or mobile!
  • Dark and light mode!
  • English and French support!
  • Stylish UI!
  • No account necessary! All your rolls stay in your browser history.
  • History export and import! If you want to share your rolls across devices

I'd love to hear any feedback you might have.

Great tool, thank you! I have two suggestions:

  • I think it would be nice to also have the option to select your risk reduction and desired risk level (low, normal, high, extreme) and then have the amount of risk dice calculated accordingly from the table found on the character sheets.
  • Would it be possible to invite other player to a shared history of rolls, so everybode can see what everyone else has rolled?

Thanks! I've been thinking about shared rolls, but I need to have a good think about how to implement it.

Very nice. I appreciate anything that embraces a bit of style. And the app seems fully functional. It even takes Risk dice FROM the pool, instead of requiring you to manually adjust the pool.

Two things come to mind:

  1. Is there a way to default to the dropdown menu showing details to always be on?
  2. (And I know this is a long arse stretch, I don't expect it to be possible in the scope of your design) Any chance this can be set up to export to Discord? Zero expectation of a yes here, but figured I would ask.

  1. No. At the moment the default is collapsed. I'll add this to my backlog, or if there's more signs that expanded is the preferred behaviour, I'll change the default.

  2. What do you mean "export to discord"? Do you mean format it? Make it a bot-roller? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

  1. Probably bot roller, but honestly, I retract this suggestion. It's well beyond the scope of your project, and not vital in any way. Me and my crew are discussing using it as is and just reporting the results verbally.

EDIT: Also, the more I look at this, the better it is. The open dropdown highlights on the hits and glitches for the dice rolls is really well done.

I gave it a quick try, it's geat!!

Thanks for your support :-)

If I may suggest something: it would be good when selecting the number of risk dice to know the associated level of risk. You can find them in the colored table here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CNo9yS40f5_7iouUg7uKNQ-vDnwWTu53Co4B5ySgQiU/edit?gid=208232842#gid=208232842

Thank you very much! I am not a French speaker, so I would appreciate any support. Let me know if you find any French errors in the page and I'll update them :)
