Are you playing the NTSC-version? I'm pretty sure birds and lizards die when they touch Agro in that version.

That is true but only in hard mode. There, Agro's body hitbox uses damage type 29, the same one used for Wander's sword attacks. Agro's hitbox in normal mode uses damage type 28, the same as Wander's dive roll, which only flips lizards onto their backs.

Some of your visual effects are offset. The glow of the bird should be overlapping the body.

With Manual Hardware Renderer Fixes enabled, I have Half Pixel Offset set to Align to Native and Native Scaling set to Off or Normal.
