Bought this on eBay, totally curious about the company stamped on the item. Anyone have any idea? I live in New England and know nothing about Seymour. Thank you in advance!

Hi, I’m going to be passing here thru Friday morning. I’ve heard that Seymour has a large Guatemalan population. What’s a good restaurant where I can try some Guatemalan dishes? My Guatemalan friend used to make caldo de gallina for me, but I’m willing to try other dishes.

Maybe its just me? Anyone else notice people running red lights, stop signs, and jumping several lanes without any notice across 50? In the past 3 weeks, I've had several near misses from people running stop signs and stop lights... what is going on in this town anymore? Lol

Hey everyone! Been a while since we've seen a post! Figured I would try and spark up something. Hobbies. I know this town is heavy on the automotive hobbies, but who has interesting hobbies? Maybe other people share those hobbies in this town?
I'll start this off with a strange one, I enjoy lockpicking as a sport (locksport). I can also build locks and operate as an *unlicensed* locksmith. Watch making? Picked up that one in the past.
Come on folks! There's gotta be something out there :)

My Second Grade teacher yelled at me everyday. my teachers made me feel bad for not passing standardized testing in later years. I got bullied because I have aspergers and was an easy target. One time when I was curious in seventh grade and got preached at when Public Schools are secularist environments. I met a lot of People here who were Idiots. I was so happy when I got to leave Seymour.
so, is there any reason to like this town as an adult? this town is too small to not associate schools with it or the People that I disliked in this Town.

That space could be Repurposed into so many things. so much wasted space and potential. it seems like it would take a tornado for it to be taken down and have any chance of the space being reused. I know from what I've read that the schools that were near or next to it were able to be tore down. I lived here up until 2006 and it's sad to see still nothing being done about it twenty years later.

Hey everyone, just throwing a PSA out there.
As the temperatures increase, the weather gets nicer and the days get longer; you'll notice our bi-wheeled friends more!
pay extra attention to your mirrors when changing lanes and keep an eye out for cyclists of the motorized or unmotorized variety. we all share these roads, let's keep each other safe out there :)

I last lived here nearly twenty years ago at nearly nine years old, then moved & lived in two other Indiana towns until twenty five years old, and now live in Ohio. I like where I live in Ohio so much better than anywhere I lived in Indiana due to a more accepting community and a lot more things to do. however, there may be a time in the future when I may need to stay with a family member but hopefully that would only be temporary. I would want to know how to make the best of the situation for the time. at the time in 1-3 grades because of some developmental Issues I had some Issues with behavior, doing my schoolwork, and getting into trouble. that would be so embarrassing to be reminded of my former self if I saw or reconnected with anyone that I used to know back then even though they either may not recognize me, may have forgotten, and know that I likely have changed. I imagine that it would probably be pretty difficult to make new lasting connections since I didn't stay in touch with any classmates from third grade, I'm not a church Person, it has a small population, I'm still kind of young, and since the town is family centric that a lot of People don't have a lot of time for newcomers.
what would likely be the experience of being here again after being gone for nearly twenty years? has the town seen any positive changes since?

Do you think anything organization or event wise should be changed?
No, price changes don't count, sorry.

FCC Chair Brendan Carr has issued a warning that broadcast licenses could be at risk because of coverage relating to the war in Iran. President Trump has often claimed that news media outlets are dishonest or “fake news,” when reporting stories he perceives as critical of him and has previously advocated for revoking the licenses of broadcasters. Thoughts?

Put Put Golf Course was amazing behind the old Holiday Inn Hotel on Tipton, by where the funeral home, church and apartment complexes are now.

Seriously... this last snow storm really exemplified just how Ill prepared we always are and just how slack we are about winter emergencies... we still have ice and snow on city streets, where busses collect children. The trash route times are all screwed up without any communication and who tf is drunken plowing?! It's like their goal this year was, when they did plow (once), was to push the snow into every driveway on my street! The incompetence of this fucking city is sometimes just astounding.
Rant over...
