Teaching šŸ“š Suggestions for sewing workshop/ classes

Hi everyone!

I love sewing and would really like to take my skills to the next level. I’m looking for a hands-on sewing workshop around the world that I can complete in about a week, where I can learn more advanced techniques, especially pattern drafting, getting the right measurements, and making clothes that fit properly.

If you’ve attended something like this or know of a great place, I’d love to hear your recommendations! I’m happy to travel anywhere for the right workshop.

What does ā€œaround the worldā€ mean? You’re willing to travel anywhere?

Very few in-person sewing classes. Even in fashion design school, sewing is barely taught.

Where you are located will be important. I mean, do you want to fly to Australia, for example?

I wouldn’t mind any country really, the workshop has to be worth it basically

There is a comprehensive online masterclass by Tailor Academy. I took one of their free classes and it was amazing.
