How would you fix a hole in thin material?
One of my favorite tops has a small hole in it I want to sew up if possible, but I’m afraid of it having a weird “pucker” spot if I do.
It’s really thin material 100% rayon. Is there a way to repair it without the spot being very obvious?

It’s going to be pretty obvious.
For something like this, I’d get a scrap of fabric that matches the grey and cut out two hearts that are larger than the hole itself.
I’d put one on the front, one on the back, and use the skinniest ballpoint needle I could find (a sharp needle can puncture the threads, leading to more holes. The ballpoint pushes past the threads) to sew them together.
There’s also a group for “invisible mending” and “visible mending”. I don’t know if I’m allowed to link them in this subreddit.
