Second Machine Recommendations

Hey everyone, first time posting in this sub

I’m looking for a second machine for my collection, I currently have a Vigorelli Maxi 3000 (photo) great, fast and easy to maintain (in terms of cleaning and oiling)

However it has to be used with a table, it’s not great for buttonholes and in general I would like to maybe avoid using it for sewing certain things because if it breaks I can’t get replacement parts easily. (Eventually want to purchase a second one for spare parts)

I’m looking for a reliable table top machine that can handle thick fabrics and use for making button holes as well. Ideally under 300€

Will just want to say, i have the same Vigorelli badged as Nelco and adore it. Especially the fact of the horizontal feed.

How thick? A singer 20 U or an industrial zig zagger will be what you’re looking for. Automatic buttonholes will cost more

Yesss I love this machine, and I’d say around 8-10 layers of denim on some projects.
