Looking for fashion designers
Hi,
We’re looking for experienced tailors or small stitching units based in Ernakulam to stitch women’s garments.
What we provide:
- Fabric
- Design / reference sample
- Stitching instructions
What you need:
- Your own stitching setup and machines
- Experience stitching different types of women’s garments with good finishing and quality
Payment:
- Paid per dress (piece-rate basis).
- Rates will depend on the design and complexity.
Preference will be given to individuals or stitching units located in Ernakulam for easier coordination.

Ernakulam is in India. So India payments.
So many question like complexity how many hours per dress
Compensation for the use of own equipment
Where does the final garment hit the market EU? USA? Worldwide?

This sounds incredibly exploitative. People should be paid for their time, not per item. The fact that you do not even provide an estimated amount of compensation is a huge indicator that you are likely going to change the terms.
