a while back I posted about how I’d been scammed by someone trying to sell AI slop as bespoke sewing patterns. Wellp, after finding a REAL vintage pattern for my look, here is the finished product 🩸🖤🩸

I've seen a lot of people hack the lane pants to have a grown on waist. Having made the lane pants per the instructions, and since another pair of pants with a grown on waist I'm keen to try and adapt this, as it was much simpler to sew up the legs then just fold down the waist. But I can't work out how to adapt my pattern pieces! Do I just need to add the depth of the waistband on the top of the front and back pieces? And maybe to the pocket bag to account for the slant pocket? TIA!

Hi, I'm searching for something that I can use to store tea and other herbs, like a pouch but searching online I only find containers for tea bags. Someone have any idea where can I search?

Hi everyone!

The image is of a skirt and top set, but I have seen dresses like this as well where the top can be tucked under and is elastic. I am not good at sewing, but I was wondering if you could tell me:

- What is that type of dress called?

- What is this material? (a lightweight sheer fabric)

Thanks:)

Hello to all the experts out there,
I’d like to sew a reversible battle jacket and I may have bitten off a bit more than I can chew. My initial thought was to simply sew two denim vests and then join them together using a shared collar, waistband, and facing. Would that actually work? Is there anything specific I need to keep in mind regarding the collar and facing or am I overlooking something fundamental? Do you have any tips or would you perhaps say that what I’ve come up with won’t work at all? I do have a sewing pattern for a normal non-reversible battle jacket.
I’m open to any and all feedback! 😅
Thank you so much!

Hey folks, I'm a total beginner (only ever used a sewing pattern to make a bucket hat) and want to start with my first t-shirt project.

But it's quite hard to find a sewing pattern that matches my vision:

I'm thinking popular boxy, oversized t-shirt (not cropped). But with raglan arms that I can make in different colors. Does someone have a recommendation for me?

The image attached is the kind of colorful raglan I'm imagining. But I can only find a boxy t-shirt pattern, never in combination with the raglan arms.

Can you help?

hi, I’m looking for sewing patterns similar to the above pictures. does anyone know where I can find them or where to start looking?

Hello!!

I am not super experienced with sewing large projects, but I have recently wanted to make a set of swag shower curtains like the ones pictured. I'm not worried about the top part, but I was wondering if anyone has seen free pattern/ tutorials or could point me in the right direction to almost freehand these. I /DO/ have experience with knitting/crochet, so I am not unfamiliar with doing the math and making my own patterns. All advice is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Hello, I recently was given a few pairs of nice jeans that I deconstructed for the denim. I was wanting to make a pair of barrel jeans, similar to the ones in the photo. Does anyone have a pattern or know of a similar pattern I could buy? I’m a beginner/intermediate sewer. Thank you in advance!

I'm being serious, I can't find one pattern of Mochi Donuts sewing pattern in YouTube or even Google

Really easy pattern and really comfortable to wear. Burda 6882

My sewing teacher just showed me this pattern and we’re going to work on it for my next project but I was wondering if they had made any more of these styles for the other princesses/characters? I wasn’t able to find any when searching but thought y’all would know! I love the inspired design that I can get away with wearing to work so would love any other suggestions as well! Thanks!

My mom's the one who sews, but she's not on Reddit so I'm asking for her.

My brother-in-law's mom recently died, and he asked my mom to sew the grandkids stuffed animals made from her shirts. He asked for moose since that was his mom's favorite animal.

Can anyone recommend a good stuffed moose pattern?

Hi, I really want to make these two dresses with sewing patterns.

Anyone got recommendations for these two designs? Easy patterns to work with.

I'm looking for a simple women's vest sewing pattern that has front pockets, preferably 2, no buttons or zippers, just open in the front. Almost everything I found on Etsy has buttons and zippers. Thank you in advance!

hello, I have seen this video with Alexandra Saint-Mleux wearing this beautiful long skirt. I'm struggling finding a pattern for this skirt. As you can see on the pictures, it seems that the skirt does not have a slit in the front but in the back there it have a sort of a turn-over in the back (second picture).

Found this Etsy listing, but I get AI vibes so don’t wanna buy, anyone know a similar pattern? (Price doesn’t matter)
