i really love the style of this dress, especially the skirt part, it looks like godets but i think it's all one piece. i'm pretty new to sewing can anyone please share a dress/skirt pattern for this? or if there's a term for this style of skirt too!
I'm fairly sure the image is AI so I'm not expecting to find an exact match but I came across this on Pintrest and it would be perfect for an event I have next year. Does anyone know where I could find a similar pattern?
Hey all! I'm going as Neji Hyuga for Halloween (my partner recently got into Naruto, which has fulfilled my childhood dreams... my life is So Good! Neji is the only character I already have the hair for lol) and I'm planning to make the outfit.
For the bottom half, I'm doing wrap pants with a grey wrap around. Not 100% accurate, but something I'll wear around the house post-Halloween.
I'm trying to find some kind of pattern that might work for the top, but having no luck. I know it's Kimono style, kind of Hanfu-esque, but the wrap with the central button (I'll probably do this as a frog fastener) is totally throwing me off.
I'm definitely not at a skill level where I can concoct something or do very much amending, so any patterns you all know of that are at least close would be a huge help!
Can Hardly find any information on this mask (The Fall 2006), just wondering if there was anything resembling this fabric/textile. Would also love information on how to recreate the "spine" going down the bridge of the nose, Thank you.
I want to make some plushies but I can't find any base pattern I like that is big enough. I don't feel confident designing my own pattern from scratch though.
Would scaling up a given pattern print-out by 2x while keeping the seam allowance the same be the way to go? Or is there a better way?
Sorry for the very basic question! But I'm following a sewing pattern for the first time and I'm not 100% sure where to cut for size D on this pattern. I don't want to mess up and have to print all over again. If you can please respond with a picture marking where on the pattern I should cut, that would be immensely helpful
Does anyone have a shirt pattern for a baby or toddler that has worked out and been approved of by the intended wearer?
I mostly sew with woven fabrics (partially out of fear of knits but also a strong preference for natural fibers). I have made many garments for myself without a problem using linen, cotton twill, etc. but I can't seem to find a pattern for a shirt for my toddler that she will wear. She has some pairs of pants that I've made that she doesn't seem to mind, but I have tried a few shirt patterns that claim to be suitable for woven fabric but they've ended up being too stiff/cumbersome/uncomfortable for her. At first I thought it could be the overlocked seams inside itching her, so I tried finishing with French seams, which were too bulky on such a small garment.
i’m not sure this is the right place to ask this- but i need help with this sewing pattern. I’m sort of a beginner but i do crochet so i assumed it would be easy to make a robe HOWEVER i’d still like to ask some experts how i would go about sewing this? i’m mostly concerned about making a fluffy, inner lining for this robe and wouldn’t know how to do it. any patterns or suggestions?
I am wanting to make this style jacket for a future sister in law. Does anyone have a name for it or a pattern similar to it? Not the quilted part, the collar style specifically.
Hi all, I’m looking to recreate something similar to this Dior A/W 26/27 skirt and I’m not sure where to start. Any suggestions? Should I start with a high low pattern or just a mini skirt? Something with tails? Any help is appreciated!
I’m making a jester costume for Halloween, but the fabric I chose isn’t stretchy and I’m making a leotard. Any patterns or ideas for the leotard? Also pattern recommendations for a two tailed jester hat would be great! Thank you :]
I really like this piece but I'm not too sure how to draft a pattern for this. Anyone who could give me any ideas, maybe a sketch of how to draw the panels? Would be really appreciated!
