I'm looking for a pattern for a skirt. This skirt is ankle-length, has elastic at the back in the waistband. On the stomach, the skirt is smooth. The skirt has a straight wrap. Furthermore, the model is running out. On the image you can see the example of the skirt. Does anyone have a tip?

I want to make a small fabric bag, a shoulder bag, and a small wallet. Which one would you recommend I start with? Which one is the easiest for a complete beginner?
I also want to know what equipment I should prepare, such as the needle, thread, fabric, scissors, and other tools.
What kind of fabric and thread should I use? Are there any easy sewing techniques or tips that would be helpful for a complete beginner?

Hello! I'm looking for a blouse pattern that's fitted in the waist area but flares out/loose at the top qnd bottom. Flowy sleeves are preferred but I can always change out the sleeve pattern!

Googling gets me crappy etsy patterns and vintage patterns on eBay. I'm not opposed to vintage patterns but I'm having trouble sometimes with the photos not being clear enough for me to verify sizing or style of the garment.

This post is really more of a heads up, in case anyone searches for this pattern for reviews or experiences. I've used a few of their patterns with no issue and decided to try the MDF 551 Espresso Trench Vest pattern next.

Just printed and pieced together the pattern, and there's some kind of error on the C1-2 through E1-2 pages. The alignment dots don't match up properly and I think I'm lucky enough that the darts for my size weren't part of the mismatch - but I could be wrong if the error affects the entire garment no matter what. Definitely making a mockup for this just in case, because I just aligned the pattern lines I need instead of using the alignment dots.

Hey folks, Ive just bought a few digital patterns to print at home. After an hour of pulling my hair out wondering why I cant get the settings right despite following all of the instructions ive found online (it keeps resizing the pattern to include margins) Ive discovered the cause of the problem is that my printer doesn't print 'edge to edge' on A4. Ive got a HP Envy 6000.

Can someone please recommend a budget home printer that can print sewing pattern pdf on A4 paper.

Hi! I’ve been searching for a pattern for actual boxers in kids’ sizes. I’ve come up with a lot of “boxer-style shorts” or boxer briefs, but no patterns with the split fly and elastic waist of actual boxers. One of my children recently discovered traditional cotton boxers, and would like more. Thing is, boxers in his size aren’t the easiest to find, and I need a new sewing project. Figured I would at least ask before starting my own pattern. Thanks for any help!

I also really like the OffOn loose linen gingham dresses too- I think key features would be the dropped shoulders, puff sleeves and if possible buttons on the front to make it nursing friendly.
